The Aikyashree scholarship, fully funded by the West Bengal State Government, provides financial support and covers educational expenses for deserving students.

Created by the West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation, it is one of the most significant programs that identifies talented students and supports them financially.

The West Bengal Minority Corporation (WBMDFC) is a government agency that assists underprivileged minorities. The West Bengal government controls it.

The West Bengal Act XVIII of 1995 led to the establishment of the WBMDFC, which was created in 1996 with the aim of providing financial assistance, scholarships, vocational training, public awareness campaigns, and career counseling for religious minority groups.

In order to give minority students in West Bengal (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, and Jains) additional socioeconomic benefits and educational opportunities, WBMDFC established the Scholarship Program.
