Amanda Seyfried’s father was Jack Seyfried, a pharmacist, and her mother is Ann Seyfried a therapist. She is major of German descent with a little trace of English, Scots-Irish, and Welsh ancestry.

Her older sister, Jennifer Seyfried is a musician in the Philadelphia rock band Love City. Seyfried is fair in complexion, stands 1.61 meters/5 feet high, and weighs 49 kilograms/108 pounds.
