The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship is a performance-based scholarship awarded to students in their senior year of high school. Students are recognized for their ability to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a meaningful impact in their schools and communities.

With its 36th graduating class in 2024, the Foundation has provided more than 6,900 Coca-Cola scholars with more than $84 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship. The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation supports more than 1,400 outstanding college students each year with annual scholarships of $3. $55 million awarded through 3 nationally recognized programs.

In addition to receiving university scholarships, selected students will be welcomed into a dynamic and growing family of Coke Scholars, which has become a powerful force for positive change in the world. Through networking, collaborations and friendships, the group strives to create greater impact together. Initiatives include a podcast called SIP and the eighth year of a mentoring program that pairs experienced students with first-year scholars as they transition to college. Every 5 years, all alumni are invited to a Coca-Cola Scholar Leadership Summit. The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation exists to improve the world by investing in high school students who are committed to leadership, service and action that positively impact others.

  • Eligible: U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, U.S. Permanent Residents, Refugees, Asylees, Cuban-Haitian Entrants, or Humanitarian Parolees – based on the guidelines utilized by U.S. Department of Education for Federal Financial Aid eligibility
  • Scholarship value: $20,000
  • Application Status: The application for 2024-2025 high school graduates will be available August 1 – September 30, 2024.

These 150 graduates will each receive a $20,000 college scholarship and join a family of more than 6,900 students who are driving positive change in their communities and around the world.

Eligibility Requirements for Coca‑Cola Scholars program:

For the Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship, applicants must be:

  • Students currently enrolled in high school or home school in any of the 50 US states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or DoD-designated schools who will graduate from high school in the 2024 – 2025 school year (Students who have graduated from a school in the United States or are international foreigners who are not eligible for this scholarship, individuals who have already graduated from high school
  • American citizens, American citizens U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, refugees, asylum seekers, Cuban-Haitian nationals, or humanitarian speakers – according to the guidelines used by the United States.

Department of Education Eligibility for federal financial aid

  • You plan to graduate high school in the current school year
  • You plan to pursue a degree at an accredited post-secondary institution in the United States
  • You can demonstrate a minimum overall average of B/3. 0 in high school courses

Applicants cannot be:

Children or grandchildren of current employees, officers or owners of The Coca-Cola Bottling Company, The Coca-Cola Company, divisions or subsidiaries of the company.

Children or grandchildren of former employees who are currently receiving retirement benefits based on their previous employment with The Coca-Cola Bottling Companies, The Coca-Cola Company, divisions or subsidiaries of the company. International students (except DoD school students)

How to Apply for Coca‑Cola Scholars Program Scholarship

  • Applying for the Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship entails a comprehensive online submission that delves into various aspects of the applicant’s profile. This includes detailing academic achievements, involvement in extracurricular activities, holding leadership positions, participation in community service, as well as providing personal statements. The application is structured to allow candidates to eloquently present their accomplishments and future aspirations.
  • In addition to the application, candidates are required to craft essays that provide deep insights into their character, values, and long-term goals. These essays offer a platform to articulate one’s vision for the future, shed light on the challenges surmounted, and outline plans for making a positive impact within their communities and beyond.
  • Moreover, applicants must procure recommendation letters from educators, mentors, or community leaders who can attest to their leadership qualities, character, and potential for success.
