Dawn Davenport is an American journalist and television personality. She joined ESPN before the start of the 2013 college football season where she worked as a reporter on the ESPNU, and currently provides her broadcasting services as a sideline reporter for both ESPN and SEC Network. In addition to her sideline duties, this multi-talented award-winning sports journalist and anchor is recognized as the first full-time female sports radio personality in Nashville. Previously in her career, Dawn worked as a morning show host for WKRN-ABC in Nashville, Tennessee, for almost ten years. Born in Plano, Texas, in the United States, Ms. Davenport was raised in Atlanta. She is an honors graduate from Auburn University, and in December 2002, she bagged a degree in mass communications/radio, television, film. She was a three-year letterwinner and a two-time SEC Academic American member on the volleyball team. Prior to joining the three-hour-long morning news show, Dawn won an award as a weekend reporter and sports anchor for the station.
