American entrepreneur John Abele is the co-founder of Boston Scientific and has an estimated net worth of more than 3 billion dollars (according to Forbes magazine).

As one of the richest men in Massachusetts, he has been serving as the director of the medical device company since 1979. However, he had held several other important positions at the renowned company.

John E. Abele was born in the United States in the year 1937. The youngest of three sons of Lieutenant Commander Mannert Lincoln Abele, USN, and Catherine (née Eaton), he was raised in a “Classic Yankee family”.
