Lacey Evans (Macey Estrella-Kadlec) is a professional wrestler currently signed to WWE. She was born in 1990 on the 24th of March, in Georgia, United States.

Lacey Evans was initially introduced to wrestling while she was serving as a military police officer with the United States Marines. She trained and started her career in Georgia on the independent circuit. She began working for WWE in 2016 in their NXT developmental territory, and also took part in the inaugural Mae Young Classic. After having a feud with Kairi Sane in NXT, Lacey Evans had a debut on Raw in December 2018, where she later feuded with Becky Lynch which culminated in a mixed tag team wrestling match in the main event of Extreme Rules.

Lacy Evans is a veteran of the United States Marines. She worked as a military police officer with the United States Marine’s Special Reaction Team when she enlisted as a 19-year-old.

She served with the military for five years and earned a bachelor’s degree as well as started a business in construction while on active duty.

She was introduced to pro wrestling while still being a part of the marines through a staff sergeant. The staff sergeant who was a promoter of independent shows invited her to a show. In the second show that she attended, the staff sergeant booked her to wrestle against him in the main event.

Wrestling Career

While with Independent Circuit from 2014 to 2015, Lacey Evans Estrella trained under Tom Caiazzo in Statesboro, Georgia. In 2014, she made her debut in the promotion and later won the company’s World Heavyweight Championship.

In April 2016 she signed a contract with WWE and made her debut on October 20, at a house show, in a battle royal, which was won by Ember Moon. Three months later she made her first appearance on NXT where she teamed up with Sarah Bridges to wrestle in a tag team match, which they lost. The following year she was given the stage name, Lacey Evans. She was mostly used as a jobber by various competitors. In July 2017, She took part in the inaugural Mae Young Classic where she defeated Taynara Conti in the first round and lost to Toni Storm in the following round.

In the episode of Raw on December 17, 2018, Lacey Evans was advertised as one of the six NXT wrestlers about to be moved to the main roster. On January 7, 2019, She lost in a dark match to Natalya.
