Megan Fox Early Life

Megan Fox was born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 16, 1986. She began taking singing and dancing classes at the age of five which continued till she was ten. Also around this time her family moved to St. Petersburg, Florida. Megan began taking modeling classes at 13 and about this same time in 1999, she won several awards at American Modeling and Talent Convention. As a result of this, she dropped out of high school and moved to Los Angeles at the age of 16 to pursue a career.

Megan made her acting debut at 15 in 2001. It was in the film, Holiday in the Sun, where she played the role of a spoiled heiress, Brianna Wallace; the movie was released on November 20, 2001, direct to DVD. She followed this up with her next role in 2002, on a Swedish-produced soap opera, Ocean Ave. Megan went on that same year to land a guest-starring role on What I Like About You, a WB network show starring, Amanda Bynes.

In 2004, Megan had a good year as she appeared in Two and a Half Men, a CBS hit comedy starring Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer. She also featured regularly in the short lived WB sitcom series, The Help. Megan went on the feature as the daughter of Faith Ford’s character in the ABC sitcom, Hope and Faith. She performed creditably in this role and even got nominated for the Young Artists Award in 2005.

That same year, she had her film debut, taking on the role of Carla Santi, in the movie, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. Megan co-starred with Lindsay Lohan in this movie, acting as her rival.

Her biggest break came in 2007 when she won the lead female role of Mikaela Banes in Transformers, a Steven Spielberg-produced blockbuster movie. Her performance in this movie got her an MTV Movie Award nomination in the category of Breakthrough Performance. She also got three Teen Choice Awards nominations.

Fox got signed for two more Transformers sequels and again played the role of Mikaela in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. However, she was left out of the third installment, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, following disagreements with the director, Michael Bay.

Megan Fox got her first lead role in the Transformers series in 2009, in the movie, Jennifer’s Body. She also in April 2009, began filming Jonah Hex. In 2014, she went on to star as April O’Neil in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and also played the same character in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016).

She began dating actor Brian Austin Green in 2004, when she was only 18 years old and he 30. They met on the set of Hope & Faith. The brain was initially hesitant to begin a relationship because of her age, but they finally began dating and became engaged in November 2006.

They got married on June 24, 2010, in a private ceremony at Four Seasons Resort in Maui. Fox and Green announced a separation in 2015 and a few days after on August 21, 2015, She filed for a divorce. However, they were back together by early 2016 and were expecting a third child.

The couple has three sons: Noah Shannon Green (born 2012), Bodhi Ransom Green (born 2014), and Journey Green (born 2016). Fox is also a stepmother to Kassius (born 2002), Green’s son from a previous relationship.
