 ROTC and JROTC  are key development programs whose aim is to prepare young people for heroic career paths in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, etc.

 Over 550,000 students do participate in JROTC from across the country, trying to prepare them for life after graduation even if they choose not to join the military. JROTC participants have higher graduation rates and GPAs and may be qualified for ROTC scholarships if they go on to college.

 The purpose of this scholarship is to be of assistance to JROTC and ROTC participants by making college more accessible and affordable.

 This scholarship is made open to any high school senior in JROTC or undergraduate student in ROTC with at least a 3.0 GPA.

OLYMPIANS ACADEMY LEADERSHIP WINGS SCHOLARSHIP

 This scholarship is intended to help students who are enthusiastic about professional leadership or management and desire to help lead the world to a positive tomorrow.

 To be eligible, this scholarship is open to any high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student having at least a 3.0 GPA who is trying to pursue a degree in professional leadership or management studies.

  SMART ASSET COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP

 SmartAsset’s scholarship program aims at providing help to people getting better financial advice by linking them with financial advisors and instructing them on good information and calculators.

 It also entails taking an active role in promoting financial literacy among youth. With its SmartStart program, SmartAsset has coached local high school students in financial literacy since 2019, with the goal of empowering young people with the knowledge and skills to manage their finances. KING JAY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) provide a unique route in higher education that enables minority students to flourish.

Only 19% of Black Americans over the age range of 25 have a bachelor’s degree, compared to 33% of white Americans. The environment and resources available at historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) can be crucial in aiding underrepresented students and other motivated students in having to complete their degrees and start to move on to incredible careers.

The purpose of this scholarship is to offer to graduate high school seniors the assets that they may need to further their education at an HBCU. 

Any high school student with at least a 3.5 GPA and on the honor roll or merit list who will be a first-generation college student may apply for this scholarship.

 CHRIS FORD SCHOLARSHIP

 Many of tomorrow’s top minds cannot pursue their college degrees and life goals because of increasing college costs.

 This scholarship is meant for assisting students who demonstrate advanced learning capacity but do not have the financial means to pay for higher education.

 This scholarship is made accessible to any Black high school senior with a general interest in business and a GPA of 3.0 or higher, but students from Ohio or Indiana are preferred.

Tuition and fees at public 4-year institutions now average $9,400 per year, while tuition and fees at private nonprofit institutions average $37,600 per year. These costs, in addition to living expenses, can deter students from pursuing their dreams.

 EITEL SCHOLARSHIP

Women currently outnumber men in college matriculation percentages.  These hardworking women’s commitment to pursuing higher learning in order to seize more opportunities is admirable.

 This scholarship is intended to be of assistance to female students pursuing higher education at a Baptist college, enabling them to succeed and witness job prospects around the world.  Applicants may be in an undergraduate or graduate program but must have a 3.0 GPA to be eligible. While all are encouraged to apply, those who are mothers, single or married, with children to support will be prioritized.

GOOBIE- RAMLAL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship program seeks to recognize and help college-bound students who are carrying the heavy burden of their hardworking immigrant families. Rhia’s grandparents toiled on sugarcane plantations in Trinidad and Tobago to build a better life for their children and future generations, while trying to instill the value of hard work and education.

 If you are an immigrant or an immigrants child,  you may apply for this scholarship as a first-generation high school senior or undergraduate student of Caribbean descent with at least a 3.0 GPA and volunteer experience.

FRANCE’S EIFFEL SCHOLARSHIPS

The French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs founded the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program in order to help French higher education institutions attract the best foreign students to their master’s and Ph.D. programs.

It offers opportunities for future foreign decision-makers in the private and public sectors and motivates applicants up to 25 years old from developing countries to pursue master’s degrees and applicants up to 30 years old from developing and industrialized countries to pursue Ph.D. degrees.

 Türkiye Scholarships are unique in that they include not only financial assistance, tuition fees, housing, and health insurance, but also college placement and academic, social, and cultural facilities for awardees at all levels of higher education.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR TÜRKIYE SCHOLARSHIPS

Students from around the world are encouraged to apply for Turkish government scholarships; however, they must meet the following criteria:

  • Be under the age of 21 for bachelor’s program applicants, under 30 for master’s program applicants, under 35 for doctoral program applicants, and under 45 for research applicants.
  • Preferably, have a basic understanding of Turkish (beginner level). This is neither an eliminator nor a favorable circumstance.
  • Minimum return of 70% for bachelor’s degree candidates, and 75% for master’s degree candidates. 90% is required for applicants to Health Sciences degrees (Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy).
  • There are required documents to be provided such as a valid passport, a valid identity document, recent passports, academic transcripts, provisional certificate of diploma, etc.

GATES CAMBRIDGE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

 The objective of Gates Cambridge is to establish an international network of future leaders committed to enhancing the well-being of others. This mission is to be accomplished by choosing excellent scholars, providing them with both financial and non-financial support at one of the world’s top universities, and aiding community building at and beyond Cambridge.

 Every year, the Gates Cambridge program awards 80 fully funded scholarships for full-time postgraduate studies (Master’s or Ph.D.) at the University of Cambridge.

You are eligible to apply for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship if you are:

  •  Applying to the University of Cambridge for one of the following full-time residential courses: Ph.D., M.Sc., MLitt, or one-year postgraduate course.
