The Wes Vernon Broadcast Scholarship
Are you a current or prospective college student interested in a career in broadcast journalism as a Hispanic student? If so, you should think about applying for the Wes Vernon Broadcast Scholarship! This scholarship is available to college students who are pursuing a career in broadcast journalism at an accredited university in the United States. Students who are currently enrolled as well as those who are applying to universities are both eligible. The National Press Club Journalism Institute, a non-profit affiliate of the National Press Club that provides innovative, practical training to journalists and communications professionals across the country, is offering the scholarship. The scholarship awards a $5,000 award to one (1) lucky student each year, which can be renewed for up to three years.

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund selects 10,000 outstanding students as HSF Scholars each year from a diverse and talented pool of applicants. Scholar Support Services, such as career services, mentorship, leadership development, knowledge building, and wellness training, are available to HSF Scholars. HSF awards more than $30 million in scholarships each year, and depending on available funds, HSF Scholars may be eligible for a scholarship ranging from $500 to $5,000, which is awarded directly to students.
AMS Scholarship for Underserved Communities
The AMS Scholarship for Underserved Communities provides financial support to students who have historically been underrepresented in the field of sciences, particularly Hispanic, Native American, and Black/African American students.
The American Meteorological Society (AMS) is dedicated to, and benefits from, a diverse community’s full and equitable participation. They are dedicated to advancing fundamental values such as diversity, inclusion, and equity in all aspects of atmospheric, oceanic, and hydrologic science. As a result, every year, they award $6,000 stipends to BIPOC students planning to study atmospheric sciences.
Scholarship recipients receive the $6,000 scholarship in two installments: $3,000 for their first year and $3,000 for their second year after they have successfully completed the first. Latinos in Technology Scholarship

American Chemical Society (ACS) Scholars Program
The ACS Scholars Program provides renewable scholarships to undergraduate students who are from historically underrepresented groups in the chemical sciences who are majoring in chemistry-related disciplines and plan to pursue careers in chemistry.
The American Chemical Society, familiar with the costs of massive university tuition fees and funds required to acquire appropriate lab equipment, aims to alleviate some of these expenses for a few lucky students each year. Applicants must currently plan or intend to study the chemical sciences in college and pursue a career in chemistry.
CIEF Scholarships in Architecture
This program offers two types of scholarships: a five-year scholarship which would lead to a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture and a Community College Scholarship for students who desire to transfer from a community college to a Bachelor’s or Master of Architecture Program.
The Construction Industry Education Foundation (CIEF) is funding the scholarships in order to increase minority representation in the Architecture profession. The foundation’s mission is to bring into and engage high school students and young adults in rewarding careers in the built environment. Every year, recipients of the “bachelor’s or master’s in architecture” scholarship earn $4,000, while recipients of the “Community College scholarship” earn $2,000 per year.
AICPA Scholarship for Minority Accounting Students
College and graduate students who identify as racial or ethnic minorities and who have completed a minimum of 30 hours of college coursework are eligible for this scholarship. The American Institute of CPAs, which is the world’s largest member association representing the accounting profession, funds this program, which has provided over $14 million in funding to over 8,000 accountants of underrepresented identities. Scholarship recipients receive individual awards of up to $5,000 per academic year; scholarship aid may only be used to pay for expenses directly related to obtaining an accounting education.
Albert W. Dent Graduate Student Scholarship

Their Dermalogica New Beginnings Esthetics Scholarship awards $5,000 to two BIPOC students who are entering or are currently enrolled in a Dermalogica partner school leading to licensure in the United States on a quarterly basis.
